HOW DOES IT WORK?
Simply book your student storage online, bring your belongings to your nearest Ease the Squeeze location (or arrange collection), and we’ll securely store everything for as long as you need.
CAN I STORE MY BELONGINGS OVER SUMMER?
Yes - many students use our storage service during the summer holidays or between university terms. Whether you’re heading home, travelling abroad or waiting for a new tenancy, we can safely store your belongings until you need them again.
WHAT ITEMS CAN STUDENTS STORE?
Students commonly store boxes, luggage, books, bedding, bikes, kitchen equipment, sports gear, monitors and bulky belongings. If you’re unsure whether we can store something, just get in touch.
CAN I BUY BOXES AND PACKING MATERIALS FROM YOU?
Yes, you can! If you order online, you’ll save 10% by using our Click & Collect service. Buy boxes and packing materials online for easy collection before moving your belongings into storage.
HOW MANY BOXES WILL I NEED?
Most students typically need around 6 boxes plus a couple of suitcases or bags to store clothes, books and essentials. If you’re storing larger items such as bikes, kitchen equipment or bedding, you may need additional space. Remember not to overpack boxes, especially with heavy books.
HOW DOES PAYMENT WORK?
We’ll take payment when we confirm your student storage booking. If you choose insurance, we’ll calculate this separately and let you know the additional cost.
CAN I GET INSURANCE?
Yes - insurance is available at an additional cost for extra peace of mind. Please read our Insurance Policy carefully for full details and terms.
CAN I SHARE MY STORAGE UNIT?
Yes, you can share a storage unit with a housemate or friend. However, only one person can be named as the client on the storage agreement, so any payment arrangements between yourselves would need to be organised separately.
IF I AM GETTING COLLECTION OR DELIVERY, DO I NEED TO BE IN?
Ideally, yes - someone should be available for collection or delivery. If you’re unavailable, a halls reception team or trusted housemate may be able to help. Please note that collection and delivery is available at an additional cost.
